Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production. The Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience with metalworking tools, and strong reliability. The role requires organizational and communication skills, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and to work safely on site with a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience using metalworking tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Layout device locations on enclosures.
• Cutouts using plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws.
• Assemble and install components onto control panels.
• Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates.
• Maintain quality to specifications and a clean work area.
• Meet project timelines and assist on customer sites as needed.
