Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a disciplined Project Controller to lead scope definition for Control Accounts and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The role focuses on maintaining IMS/PMB, analyzing EVM data, and guiding corrective actions throughout the program lifecycle.

You will work with multiple functional groups to optimize labor, schedule, and cost performance, while supporting risk management and project-control processes within a complex defense

Qualifications

• BA degree and 4–8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2–6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Knowledge in IMS, PMB, change management, work authorization, forecasting EACs, and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of IPMR/IPMDAR reporting.
• Experience with WBS, IMS, and work authorizations.
• Understanding of cost and schedule development and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead definition of scope for Control Accounts (CA) and tasking and set expectations for project team members.
• Plan and execute hardware-centric projects, defining CA tasks and resources to meet objectives.
• Coordinate CA-focused program activities across functional groups; direct technical/functional resources.
• Review labor reports, analyze EVM data at WP/CA level, and manage CA budgets and schedules.
• Enter monthly inputs in the Leidos EVM tool (LENS); manage IMS status, BCRs, ETC and variance reporting.
• Support risk, issue, and opportunity review boards and assist in proposal inputs.
