Bethel Church is seeking a part-time Finance Contributions Specialist in Redding, CA. You will contribute to daily finance operations by accurately recording contributions, reconciling donor data, and processing merchant receipts.

The role requires strong data-entry skills, proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while supporting donor services and deposits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to process financial transactions accurately.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and ability to learn donor-management software.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record contributions and other receivables per procedures.
• Reconcile donor records with Intacct and Rock RMS journal entries.
• Process merchant processor receipts and deposit funds with correct allocations.
• Prepare contribution reporting and manage office deposits and wire payments.
• Maintain internal controls and confidentiality of financial information.
• Provide excellent donor service to internal and external stakeholders.
