Job summary

EC Electric is seeking a Contract Administrator to lead the contract review lifecycle, from receipt to execution, coordinating with project teams, legal counsel, and external partners. The role focuses on identifying risks, drafting revisions, and negotiating terms to align with company risk objectives.

Responsibilities include organizing contracts, ensuring complete documentation, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in contract administration or a related role.
• Experience reviewing construction contracts and subcontracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams and internal stakeholders on contract review, negotiation, and execution.
• Receive, organize, and maintain customer contracts, exhibits, addenda, and related documents.
• Verify all necessary contract documents and information before review.
• Review terms and identify provisions presenting risk to the company.
• Prepare proposed revisions and coordinate with management and legal counsel.
• Assist project teams with contract negotiations and issue resolution.
• Ensure flow-down provisions in downstream subcontracts.
• Coordinate with legal, insurers, and internal stakeholders on requirements.
• Coordinate preparation and delivery of certificates of insurance and compliance docs.
• Manage contract routing, approvals, execution, and retention via document systems.
• Maintain records of contract status, negotiations, and approvals.
• Help teams understand and comply with key contract requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
