Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) seeks a contracts manager in its Legal Department with a strong focus on construction and engineering contracts for energy projects.

The role supports EPC, MSAs, and subcontractor agreements across renewable and conventional energy initiatives. The successful candidate will draft, negotiate, and manage complex contracts, provide strategic guidance to project teams, and develop contract playbooks while balancing risk with business objectives in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of construction contracts experience with drafting and negotiation.
• Experience with EPC contracts, MSAs and subcontractor agreements.
• Strong understanding of risk allocation, indemnities, delay and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts for large-scale energy projects, including EPC, MSAs, and supplier agreements.
• Provide strategic guidance on complex energy infrastructure projects including renewables, conventional power, and transmission.
• Collaborate with commercial, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to align contracts with business objectives.
• Develop and implement contract templates and playbooks tailored to the energy sector.
• Ensure flow-down provisions from prime contracts are included.
• Assist project teams with pricing, schedule impact analyses, and change order documentation.
• Additional duties as needed.
