Job summary

EC Electric in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Contracts Administrator to coordinate contract reviews, manage documents, identify contractual risks, and support negotiations with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders. The role collaborates with project teams, leadership, legal counsel, and brokers to ensure complete, compliant contracts aligned with risk objectives.

The position is on-site and full-time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in contract administration or related roles preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Ability to read and analyze contract terms for risk and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on contract review, negotiation, and execution.
• Receive, organize, and maintain customer contracts and related docs.
• Verify documents are complete before review begins.
• Identify provisions creating risk to the company.
• Prepare revisions and coordinate with management/legal counsel.
• Assist negotiations and resolve contract issues.
• Ensure flow-down provisions in downstream subcontract agreements.
• Coordinate with legal/insurance to meet requirements.
• Coordinate certificates of insurance and compliance docs.
• Manage contract routing, approvals, execution, and retention.
• Maintain records of contract status and approvals.
• Assist teams in understanding key contract requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
