Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants seeks a Contracts and Risk Analyst (Contracts Paralegal) to support design professionals in architecture, engineering, and construction sectors. You will review contracts, manage claims, and coordinate with brokers and clients to mitigate risk.

The role requires at least 3+ years in contract administration or related fields, a Paralegal certification, and strong communication, time management, and attention to detail. Hybrid work across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in contract administration, claims review, risk management, or legal services in A/E/C industries.
• Paralegal certification required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be detail-oriented with good time-management and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts to identify risk exposures and advise clients on risks and insurability.
• Negotiate and finalize contract risk and insurance provisions with clients and counsel.
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and brokers on contract analysis services.
• Coordinate with broker teams on contractual insurance requirements and policy interpretation.
• Assist clients in recognizing and reporting claims across coverage lines.
• Monitor client losses and prepare claim summaries with carriers.
• Participate in client claims reviews and manage notes and action items.
• Coordinate with broker teams during pre-renewal and renewal of insurance programs.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn insurance specifics for architecture, engineering, and construction clients.
