Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a Contracts & Risk Analyst to support architects, engineers, and construction clients with contracts, claims, and risk management. This hybrid role will be based in Alpharetta, GA, or other major offices, collaborating with our Risk Management Team.

You will review contracts for risk exposure, negotiate provisions with counsel, coordinate with brokers, and help manage claims and renewals while expanding insurance knowledge for A/E/C clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of contract administration, claims review, risk management, and/or legal services for architecture, engineering and/or construction industry.
• Paralegal Certification or Juris Doctorate; active state bar membership preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking ability.
• Willingness to obtain CRIS designation within one year.
• Travel may be required as clients are nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Review design, consulting, and construction contracts to identify contractual risk exposures.
• Negotiate contractual risk and insurance provisions with clients and counsel.
• Assist with contract analysis alongside attorneys and paralegals.
• Coordinate with broker teams on insurance requirements and risk issues.
• Assist in recognizing and reporting claims across all coverage lines.
• Monitor client losses with carriers and prepare claim summaries.
• Participate in client claims reviews and track action items.
• Coordinate claims during pre-renewal and renewal of programs.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn insurance for A/E/C clients.
• Be an active member of the Risk Management Team.
