Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a Contracts and Risk Analyst to support architecture, engineering, and construction clients in contract risk management, claims administration, loss control, and training. The role works with veteran brokers, attorneys, and paralegals to deliver leading insurance and risk management services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in contract administration, claims review, risk management, and/or legal services for architecture, engineering and/or construction.
• Paralegal Certification and/or Juris Doctorate; active bar membership preferred.
• Insurance industry experience is nice to have but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting across the organization and with clients.
• May involve limited travel to client locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts to identify contractual risk exposures and advise clients on insurability and risk mitigation.
• Negotiate and finalize contractual risk and insurance provisions with clients and counsel.
• Coordinate with brokers and legal teams on contract analysis services.
• Coordinate with broker teams regarding insurance requirements and risk management issues.
• Assist clients in recognizing and reporting claims across all coverage lines.
• Monitor client losses and prepare claim summaries; participate in claims reviews and renewal discussions.
