Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a Contracts Paralegal to support brokers and executives in architecture, engineering, and construction. The role focuses on contracts, claims, and risk management, with collaboration across a Risk Management Team.

Requires 3+ years of experience and a paralegal certification, plus a willingness to obtain licenses or the CRIS designation. Hybrid work options available; Alpharetta, IL, VA, NY, MO offices may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher required.
• Paralegal certification required.
• 3+ years in contract administration, claims review, risk management for AEC.
• IRMI CRIS designation within 1 year of hire (or willingness).
• May need Property & Casualty license(s).

Responsibilities

• Review contracts to identify risk exposures and advise on risks and insurability.
• Negotiate contractual risk and insurance provisions with clients and counsel.
• Assist attorneys/paralegals in contract analysis services.
• Coordinate with brokers on contractual insurance requirements and risk issues.
• Assist in claims reporting and loss control across coverage lines.
• Monitor client losses and prepare claim summaries with carriers.
• Participate in client claims reviews and renewals.
