Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a Contracts and Risk Analyst to support architecture, engineering, and construction clients with contract risk management, claims administration, and loss control. The role collaborates with veteran brokers, attorneys, and paralegals to deliver risk management services across complex projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in contract administration or related fields, a strong eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of contract administration, claims review, risk management, or related work in architecture/engineering/construction.
• Paralegal Certification and/or JD from ABA-approved program; JD holders must be active bar members.
• Insurance industry experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal teams and external clients.
• High attention to detail and excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze design, consulting, and construction contracts to identify risk exposures and advise on insurability and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with clients and counsel to negotiate and finalize contractual risk and insurance provisions.
• Work with attorneys and paralegals on contract analysis services.
• Coordinate with broker teams on insurance requirements and policy interpretation.
• Assist clients in recognizing and reporting claims across all coverage lines.
• Monitor client losses by interfacing with carriers and prepare claim summaries.
• Participate in client claims reviews and manage action items.
