Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manager, Contracts for its Advanced Technology (AT) / Alternate Missions and Space (AM&S) Contracts organization to lead contract execution and strategic guidance in Tucson, AZ. The role requires coordinating with portfolio directors, program managers, and supply chain to ensure compliant, competitive contracts and successful proposals.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of related experience (or 5+ with an advanced degree), experience with FAR/DFARS, and an active Top-Secret

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years.
• Experience with US Government Contracts under FAR/DFARS.
• Active Top-Secret security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Manage successful execution of contracts with Portfolio Directors, PMs, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain.
• Provide guidance on contractual issues, rights/obligations and risk mitigation.
• Analyze RFPs, RFIs and BAAs.
• Review Estimates at Completion (EAC).
• Coordinate proposal reviews and customer responses.
• Negotiate contracts.
• Support program management and execution reviews.
• Develop Intellectual Property and investment strategy.
• Ensure negotiated terms comply with company policies.
• Minimal domestic travel required.
