Job summary

RTX Raytheon in Tucson, AZ, seeks an Associate Director of Contracts to lead the AE&S Contracts team onsite. The role focuses on strategic, high-value development efforts and competitive pursuits with U.S. government customers.

A supervisory responsibility for six contracts professionals and relocation eligibility are included. Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required, with the position based in the on-site Tucson office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) with extensive experience in government contracts.
Experience with FAR/DFARS and related government regulations.
Proven ability to lead, build, and mentor contracts teams to success.
Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and collaboration with program and functional leaders for program success.
Offer strategic guidance before and during contract execution, understanding rights, obligations and risks.
Mentor team members on proposals, negotiations, and contract execution.
Monitor negotiations and provide escalation support.
Review Estimates at Completion (EACs).
Support program management and execution reviews.
Advise senior management on contractual and business issues.
Ensure team members follow company processes and policies.
