Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a Contract Manager to support our commercial and public sector teams in Washington, DC. You will review, draft, and negotiate agreements while refining workflows and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency across the legal function.

You will manage government contracts lifecycle, respond to inquiries, maintain registrations in SAM.gov and PIEE, and guide stakeholders through self-serve contracting and post-signature obligations.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance or ability/willingness to apply.
• Experience with NDAs, task orders, modifications, prime contracts, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management tools such as Ironclad.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in contracts management or similar roles.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contract processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain government contracts lifecycle management processes and systems.
• Negotiate and administer agreements with customers, subcontractors, and vendors per policies and regulations.
• Respond to inquiries from customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Maintain registrations and disclosures in SAM.gov, PIEE, CPARS, and related systems.
• Collaborate with public sector legal teams to improve contracting processes and signing systems.
• Guide stakeholders in self-serve contracting and negotiate NDAs, task orders, modifications, primes, vendor agreements.
• Track post-signature obligations with cross-functional partners.
• Document milestones, deliverables, invoices, and cash collection.
• Support reviews of customer and security questionnaires and other requests.
• Create and maintain internal processes, resources, and tools to scale the legal function.
