Scale AI is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to own relationships with subcontractors supporting large Public Sector programs in the Washington, DC area. You will translate prime contract milestones into subcontractor deliverables and integrate activities into the IMS, while ensuring security, access, and compliance requirements are met.

You will coordinate with Scale’s Delivery team and technical leads to drive accountability, manage invoices, onboarding, and documentation, and escalate issues

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program management, subcontractor management, or related roles.
• Experience managing external organizations to defined scopes, schedules, and deliverables.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules, Work Breakdown Structures, Statements of Work, and program reviews.
• Strong technical acumen to understand software & systems integration without engineering handholding.
• Ability to operate across technical and administrative domains, incl. invoicing and onboarding.

Responsabilités

• Own day-to-day relationships with subcontractors on Public Sector programs.
• Translate contract milestones into subcontractor deliverables and timelines.
• Integrate subcontractor activities into the Integrated Master Schedule; identify risks.
• Hold subcontractors accountable for scope, timelines, and status reporting.
• Coordinate security, access, compliance, and program requirements across partners.
