Job summary

Raft, a U.S.-based company headquartered in McLean, VA, seeks a Contracts Manager to lead cradle‑to‑grave contract administration for government work. The role ensures FAR/DFARS compliance, negotiates terms, and advises leadership on contractual rights and risks. You will support proposals, pricing, and subcontracts while coordinating with Raft’s teams.

Role requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance, and work within the continental U.S.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of contracts administration in a government contracting environment
• Experience managing subcontracts
• Experience with contract types including T&M, LH, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, FFP-LOE, FFP
• Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts and subcontracts end-to-end including modifications and closeouts
• Review and edit contracts for rights and obligations and interpret terms
• Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with legal and customer requirements
• Advise leadership on disputes and resolutions and facilitate closeouts
• Prepare and review price proposals and conduct cost analyses
• Draft/negotiate pre-award agreements (NDAs, TAs, MOUs)
