Job summary

Ryan Specialty, LLC is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel in the United States to negotiate and draft agreements between Ryan entities and trading partners and to provide insights to business leaders on contract interpretation.

You will collaborate with experienced team professionals, ensure compliance with market security protocols, and continuously develop expertise in open brokerage and binding authority agreements, including delegated underwriting with Lloyd's of London.

Qualifications

• Law degree with 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.
• License to practice law in at least one state.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft agreements and amendments, and other legal documents.
• Offer accurate and timely legal advice to executives on various topics relating to agreements between Ryan entities and their trading partners.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's market security protocols.
• Provide advice to business units on contract terms.
• Research and evaluate risk factors related to business decisions and operations.
• Apply effective risk management techniques and proactively advise on potential legal issues.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties.
• Handle complex matters involving multiple stakeholders and forces.
