Job summary

ACA Group seeks a legal professional to draft, review, and negotiate contracts for its subsidiary broker-dealers and other agreements. The role involves handling complex regulatory and compliance matters and assisting the Legal Department with a range of projects to keep operations efficient.

The position requires a Juris Doctor and active license, plus 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or regulatory settings, with strong drafting, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Juris doctor degree required and licensed in at least one jurisdiction.
• 1–3 years of relevant legal experience at a law firm, regulatory agency, or in-house; broker-dealer or financial services experience preferred.
• Experience drafting and reviewing complex agreements with large counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for ACA’s subsidiary broker-dealers.
• Research and provide legal advice on broker-dealer and mutual fund distribution and related regulatory issues.
• Communicate with ACA clients, outside counsel, service providers on contract terms and information.
• Stay current on regulatory developments affecting ACA’s broker-dealers and update contracts/policies accordingly.
• Perform ad-hoc work and special projects to support ACA initiatives.
