Job summary

Cumming Group in Monterey Park, CA is hiring a Contracts Administrator to support education sector project delivery. You will coordinate procurement, prepare packages, and manage bid processes from planning through award.

You will work with PMO, college sites, and client leadership to ensure compliance, maintain documentation, and deliver awarded contracts with accurate post-award submittals, while adhering to policy and law.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3-6 years of prior relevant experience supporting construction contract activities is required.
• Knowledge of California Higher Education and Public Contract Code requirements is preferred.
• Experience with electronic bidding software and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement packages for selection of GCs and professional services.
• Manage competitive bidding/selection processes from planning through award.
• Oversee pre-qualification processes and RFQ/SOQ activities with SMEs.
• Prepare addenda, evaluation materials, and award documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to policies, templates, and laws.
• Report, track, and quality control procurements; manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Understand this is heavily administrative with no supervisory duties.
