Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc is seeking a Contractor, Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day AP activities and serve as a business partner to the related PTC area. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing vendor invoices, maintaining filing systems, and aiding with SOX-compliant procedures.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and at least 2 years of AP or accounting experience, preferably in pharma/biotech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related business discipline; at least 2 years of AP or accounting experience.
• Pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with taxes and three-way matching (POs, invoices, receipts).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for policy compliance and appropriate approvals.
• Code and process invoices; reconcile related vendor documents.
• Enter transactions into the ERP system and record adjustments.
• Prepare weekly ACH, checks and wire transfer requests; manage bank templates.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes and reporting.
