Job summary

Sierra ITS in Missouri is seeking a Human Resources Specialist who enjoys the variety of working in a smaller organization. If your experience includes helping employees, coordinating hiring, supporting benefits, and keeping HR records accurate, this opportunity lets you use those skills every day.

We’re looking for someone with hands-on HR experience in a small to mid-size organization, where supporting several parts of the employee experience comes with the territory.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of progressive HR or related administrative experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or related field.
• Experience supporting HR in a small to midsize organization.
• SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee records, update HRIS information, and prepare employment documents.
• Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, background checks, and offer letters.
• Help new employees get started through onboarding and orientation.
• Support benefits enrollment, answer employee questions, and reconcile benefits invoices.
• Prepare HR reports, maintain compliance records, and assist with audits.
• Support employee engagement, training, and process improvements.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
