Job summary

Trident Consulting in St. Louis, MO is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to drive people strategies in a hybrid 3-days onsite environment. The role focuses on employee relations, talent development, and governance across multiple business units.

The successful candidate will partner with senior leaders, design and implement HR programs, navigate regulatory requirements, and use people analytics to influence decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing-adjacent setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years as HR Business Partner/HR leader partnering with managers and leaders.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, compensation/benefits, lifecycle management.
• Experience with organizational change, people analytics, and M&A.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers across levels to align HR strategies with business goals.
• Lead employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Support change initiatives and integrate HR programs across functions.
• Drive adoption of manager self-service tools and HR processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and corporate policies.

Job description

Location: St. Louis, MO 63103 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Solutions Partner, or in a similar HR leadership-partnering role.
• Experience partnering with managers and business leaders across different organizational levels.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, compensation and benefits, talent development, and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience with organizational change, people analytics, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a large, global, matrixed organization.
• Manufacturing-site HR experience.
• Change management and leadership coaching experience.
• Experience implementing HR programs and improving manager self-service adoption.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and support a fast-paced business environment.
