Job summary

Zurich North America is hiring a Contract Surety Underwriter to lead large account underwriting across the West region, including travel up to 20%. The role focuses on expanding a portfolio, strengthening client relationships, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The position can be filled at either Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter level, based on experience. A strong background in surety and collaboration with top-tier agents is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with large contract surety underwriting.
• Knowledge of lines of business and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to manage time restraints for quotes on new/renewal business.
• Ability to build and maintain broker/agency relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% across the region.
