Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a motivated Contract Surety Underwriter for the Large Contract West Region Team. This market-facing role will manage complex large accounts, drive business development, and expand a portfolio across 13 Western states.

The position offers regional travel and collaboration with top-tier agents and brokers. The role will be filled at either Underwriting Specialist or Executive Underwriter level, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Underwriting and analyzing large contract surety for new and renewal business.
• Knowledge of line/s of business and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience with time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze large contract surety business and renewals.
• Build and maintain strategic broker/agency relationships.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Travel ~20% across the West region.
