Job summary

Altais Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Clinical Pharmacy Team on a 6-month contract. The role operates remotely with hours 8 AM–5 PM PST, Monday–Friday, supporting CMS/HEDIS STAR measures and patient-care initiatives under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include outreach to patients and providers, documentation in EHR, and collaboration with clinical staff to improve outcomes and cost of care.

Qualifications

• CMS/HEDIS Quality STAR measures experience is a plus.
• HS Diploma required and 2–3 years of pharmacy-related experience preferred.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Team on CMS/HEDIS Quality STAR measures and target patient populations.
• Assist in delivering evidence-based pharmaceutical care under pharmacist supervision.
• Conduct outbound and inbound calls to address gaps in care, adherence, and therapeutic interchange.
• Serve as a point of contact for clinical pharmacy programs and provide information to physicians and project teams.
• Document clinical activities and outcomes into the electronic health record (EHR).
• Communicate with internal/external staff and health plan partners to support clinical programs.
• Assist with data reviews, reports, and presentations for pharmacy-related items.
• Support ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
• Research, process, and resolve drug authorization requests and respond to physician inquiries.
