Job summary

World Class Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Quotes Specialist for a 6-month assignment in our Quote team. This role is 40 hours per week and focuses on managing the end-to-end RFQ process, from intake to on-time, accurate quotes.

You will review technical and commercial requirements, collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, maintain quote records in the ERP, and support margin goals. High school diploma required; 2–5 years in quoting, pricing, and customer support preferred; Epicor

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of quoting, pricing management, and customer support experience.
• Experience with material commodities and manufacturing processes preferred.
• ERP experience, especially Epicor Kinetic, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full RFQ process from intake to on-time delivery of quotes.
• Review requirements, resolve questions, and ensure quotes meet customer needs and business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to secure competitive cost, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Track quotes and communicate status to meet deadlines and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain accurate quote records, notes, pricing details, and version control in the ERP system.
• Support customer cost-management programs and coordinate handoffs when business is awarded.
• Perform other tasks as required.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing the full request-for-quote (RFQ) process from intake and prioritization through tracking and on-time delivery of accurate, competitive quotes.
• Reviewing technical and commercial requirements, resolve questions early, and ensure each quote aligns with customer needs and business objectives.
• Partnering with internal teams and suppliers to gather inputs and secure competitive cost, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Tracking open quotes, communicating status, and following up proactively to meet customer deadlines and provide exceptional service.
• Maintaining accurate quote records, notes, pricing details, and version control in the ERP system while supporting margin goals.
• Supporting customer cost-management programs and coordinate clear, successful handoffs to internal and external partners when business is awarded.
• Performing other tasks as required
• This is a 6-month assignment working 40 hours per week

Requirements

What we are looking for

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency (required)
• Epicor Kinetic ERP experience (preferred)
• 2-5 years of quoting, pricing management and customer support (preferred)
• Experience with material commodities and manufacturing processes (preferred)
• Advanced organization skills (required)
• Understanding of supply chain management and purchasing techniques (preferred)
• Experience communicating with customers/vendors via phone, email and in person (preferred)

• Ability to read prints, understand call outs, and quality specifications (preferred)
