Job summary

Innoveyance is seeking a Quote Specialist to transform approved Quote Requests, customer information, and drawings into accurate quotations for conveyor and material-handling solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Controls, Installation, and Sales Operations leadership to clarify requirements, protect scope, and ensure the final quote reflects the proposed solution.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year degree in related field preferred or related experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD (current versions) is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Familiar with Epicor Software.
• Familiar with material handling systems design (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in reading tape measures and other measuring devices; basic mathematics and reading mechanical blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Generates equipment pricing through the iQ-CPQ Quote System and installation pricing through Excel worksheets.
• Generate quotation documents, including Operation Overviews; distributes quotes to customers and Outside Sales Representatives.
• Review drawings and coordinate with CAD operators, vendors, and other departments to meet application requirements.
• Review purchase orders/contracts and generate project summaries; request ship dates.
• Log quotes/drawings into iQ-CPQ and release completed quotes/drawings.
• Attend Project Kick-Off meetings when applicable.
• Perform safety and housekeeping duties.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Generates equipment pricing thru the iQ-CPQ Quote System and installation pricing thru Excel worksheets.
• Generate quotation documents, including Operation Overviews; and distributes quote(s) to customers and Outside Sales Representative.
• Review sales drawings and work with Outside Sales Representatives, CAD operators, vendors, other internal departments and customers regarding issues, problems and questions to establish a system that meets the application requirements.
• Review purchase orders/contracts, process order acknowledgements, generate project summaries and request ship dates.
• Compiles information from quotes which may be beneficial to other departments in the applicable WOP (Work Order Processing) folder.
• Generates sales-related reports on an “as needed” basis.
• Log quotes/drawings into the iQ-CPQ Quote System and release completed quotes/drawing-only from the iQ-CPQ Quote System.

• Receive drawings/quote requests from Outside Sales Representative /customers, create sales drawings, contact machine vendors to request information/drawings, and perform related updates as needed.
• Maintain and follow Salesman Priority List.
• Utilize Epicor ERP for component information.
• Attend Project Kick-Off Meeting when applicable.
• Performs safety and housekeeping duties.
• Participates in required training and applies safety skills/knowledge.
• Participates in continuous improvement teams and/or empowerment teams.
• Accurately completes required documentation.
• Participates in training of co-workers in all aspects of job responsibilities.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills and Abilities

• Minimum two-year degree in related field preferred or related experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD (current versions) is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Familiar with Epicor Software.
• Familiar with material handling systems design (or equivalent).
• Project and solution oriented.
• Proficiency in reading tape measures and other measuring devices.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics (fractions, decimals, conversions, etc.).
• Skill and ability to read mechanical blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify missing, conflicting, or unusual information.
• Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication with sales, technical, and operational teams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, specifications, and project information at a functional level.
• Strong organization and time-management skills sufficient to manage multiple quote assignments and priorities.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• This position will require the following: walking, sitting, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects/tools/controls, using vibratory tools, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, talking and hearing.
• While performing the duties of this job, this person may be exposed to a noise level that is usually minimal but may be elevated at times.
