SourcePro Search, LLC in Port Charlotte, FL seeks a contract phlebotomist to support our clinical team. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with potential for permanent placement.

The role requires 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy, experience with pediatric through geriatric patients, and the ability to perform blood draws, labeling, centrifuging and specimen handling per protocol. Benefits are available.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Aufgaben

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly the venipuncture process to patients and assist with specimen collection as required.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure correct labeling and storage per test orders.
