Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient information and testing records.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations during sample handling.
• Attend annual department trainings and meetings.
