Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Greenwich, CT team on a contract basis with potential for permanent placement. The role involves performing blood draws, specimen labeling, and processing under OSHA guidelines.

Minimum one year of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting is required, along with a valid phlebotomy certification and basic MS Office skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with rotating Saturdays.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 12 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED minimum 2 years of experience

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain clearly the venipuncture process to patients and/or other specimen collection.
• Demonstrate technique using straight and butterfly needles.
• Ensure all physician orders are understood and followed.
• Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and tests.
• Prepare and transport specimens, label, centrifuge, and store per protocol.
• Maintain specimen integrity through proper temperature control and handling.
