Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Greenwich, CT. The position runs 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, for an initial 3-month term with potential for permanent hire.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, and processing, with OSHA compliance emphasized. Ideal candidates have a valid phlebotomy certification and at least 1 year of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, plus basic MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 12 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required with 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and collect specimens; label and process per protocol.
• Centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data, and ensure accurate patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimens and prepare packages for transport.
• Store samples at required temperatures and maintain specimen integrity.
