Job summary

Acloché LLC in Anchorage is seeking a contract Phlebotomist for a 3-month assignment with potential for permanent hire. Schedule is 8AM to 5PM, Monday–Friday, with benefits available. Role focuses on blood draws, specimen labeling, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and follows test orders.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients clearly and courteously.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and store specimens per protocol; transport as required.
• Ensure OSHA and DEP regulations are followed and participate in trainings.
