Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required for the hiring state.
• Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of overall experience as a qualifier.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients.
• Centrifuge specimens and manage transport per protocol.
• Maintain accurate patient information and labeling.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and Department of Public Health regulations.
