Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC in Ashland, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential to extend. The role involves blood draws, labeling, centrifugation, and maintaining specimen quality per protocol.

Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm, off every other Friday. Requires phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly and courteously.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport and store per required temperatures.
