Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a HS Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge, and record maintenance data.
• Collect, store, and decontaminate specimens; update patient information as required.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimens; package for transport per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and participate in department trainings.
