Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Washington DC (Georgia Ave NW). The position runs Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm, for an initial 3-month term with potential for permanent placement.

This is a fast-paced setting where accuracy and patient care matter. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and handling specimens, communicating procedures to patients, and ensuring proper specimen transport.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state
• Minimum of 5 years venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture with accuracy
• Label, centrifuge, and decontaminate specimens
• Record maintenance data and update patient information
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper temperature control
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings
