Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Ashland, OR seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, off every other Friday. Projected duration: 3 months with possibility of extension.

The phlebotomist will perform blood draws, label and process specimens, maintain documentation, and ensure OSHA/DEP compliance while delivering courteous patient service.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification as required by state
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens according to procedures.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain maintenance data.
• Record patient information and update test requisitions.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations; attend annual trainings.
