Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group in Ashland, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, off every other Friday.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, recording maintenance data, documenting patient information, and proper specimen transport. Must hold a valid phlebotomy certification, have at least 2 years of venipuncture experience, and be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 2 years of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and labeling of specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate equipment and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures.
• Adhere to OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
