Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC in Ashland, OR is seeking a contract Phlebotomist for 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with every other Friday off.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, processing, and data recording in a fast-paced lab. Requires valid phlebotomy certification applicable to the state, at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, HS diploma or GED, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification valid for the employing state.
• Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience in a hospital or lab.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data recording.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture using straight or butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per protocol.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and maintain specimen integrity.
• Accurately verify test requisitions and maintain records.
• Comply with OSHA and departmental regulations; attend trainings.
