The Recruiting Hive in Ashland, OR is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position with potential for permanent placement. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with every other Friday off.

Projected duration is 3 months, with potential for extension or conversion to permanent status. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation and transport of samples.

Qualifikationen

• Phlebotomy certification required by state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood draws and label specimens; centrifuge and store per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and/or caregivers.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport; maintain accurate labeling.
• Verify test requisitions against specimens to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend required trainings.
