Key People is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract assignment in Columbus, GA. The role supports patient blood collection, sample labeling, and specimen handling. Schedule is M-F 8:30a-5:30p, with potential to float to other locations.

Duration is 3 months with potential for permanent hire. Benefits are available. The ideal candidate has a valid phlebotomy certification for the state, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in fast-paced settings, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficient with specimen labeling and handling procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and DEP regulations.
• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Prepare samples for transport and ensure correct test orders.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
