Job summary

Acloché LLC in Columbus, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role of about three months with potential to become permanent. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with duties including blood draws, specimen labeling, and data entry, while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a valid phlebotomy certification, at least six months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explains venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients as required.
• Demonstrates technique with straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
• Follows OSHA and DEP regulations and attends annual department trainings.
