Job summary

Soap Creek Resources in Columbus, GA seeks a contract Phlebotomist for a 3-month assignment with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm, with duties including blood draws, specimen labeling, and data entry. Expected to float to other locations as needed.

Experience in venipuncture, a valid state phlebotomy certification, and a High School Diploma or GED are required. Benefits are available and the role supports OSHA/DEP compliant workflow.

Qualifications

• Valid state phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and/or guardians.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and attend trainings.
