Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Columbus, GA. Schedule is M-F 8:30a-5:30p with a projected duration of 3 months and potential for permanent placement. May float to other locations as needed. Benefits are available.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling specimens, and maintaining accurate records. Requires 3 years of phlebotomy experience and state phlebotomy certification. Training and OSHA compliance are expected to be followed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Valid state phlebotomy certification.
• Minimum 6 months venipunctures in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Assist with specimen storage and transport as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Ensure correct test requisitions match specimens and labels.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and department trainings.
• Answer inquiries and communicate results to appropriate staff.
