Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Phlebotomist in Washington, DC for a contract role with potential for permanent placement. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, for an initial 3-month term with extension possible.

The successful candidate will perform blood draws, label specimens, and maintain accurate patient information in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires venipuncture experience, valid phlebotomy certification as per state requirements, and a high school

Qualifications

• Requires valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Minimum 5 venipuncture experiences in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; proficiency with Office tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws (venipuncture) and label/process specimens.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per procedure.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Match requisitions to tubes and ensure proper labeling.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and attend department trainings.
