Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Glens Falls, NY. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm, with every other Saturday 7am-12pm; duration is 3 months with potential for perm placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, maintaining data, and specimen handling. Requires phlebotomy certification and 6+ months venipuncture experience; MS Office proficiency is needed.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required for the state of employment.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination, updating patient information, and proper packaging for transport.
• Ensuring accuracy by matching requisition forms and specimen tubes.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and attending annual trainings.
• Answering calls and reading lab results to satisfy inquiries.
