Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Glens Falls, NY for a contract role with potential to go permanent. The schedule is Monday–Friday, with some Saturday hours, and a 3-month project duration. The candidate should have phlebotomy certification and venipuncture experience.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, and transport packaging, while complying with regulations and documenting results.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state is required.
• Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to procedures; explains venipuncture clearly to patients.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling and storage.
