LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist in Baltimore, MD for a contract position with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, plus one Saturday a month. Projected duration is 3 months with potential to become permanent.

Requires 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience and pediatric to geriatric exposure. Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, maintaining data, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.

Competenze

• 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Mansioni

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and labels.
• Packages specimens for transport and stores samples at required temperatures.
• Complies with OSHA and DEP regulations and attends annual trainings.
