Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Experience performing venipunctures in fast-paced labs or hospitals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens according to procedures.
• Centri­fuge specimens, record maintenance data, and decontaminate work areas.
• Explain venipuncture steps clearly to patients and ensure proper labeling.
• Package specimens for transport and maintain sample integrity.
