Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience.
• Must hold a Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment where required.
• High school diploma or GED required; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture using straight or butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, and store specimens per test orders and protocols.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure specimen integrity.
• Maintain accurate records, check requisitions, and ensure 100% accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
